The BenQ EW2780 27" 16:9 HDR FreeSync IPS Monitor is designed for entertainment, including streaming, gaming, and viewing. It uses BenQ's proprietary HDRi technology and an integrated sensor to detect ambient light levels and assess on-screen images, allowing for customised colour performance, detail, contrast, and image clarity. All of this contributes to details not being lost in dark shadows and bright regions not being overexposed. AMD FreeSync technology, which dynamically changes the display's refresh rate to that of your graphics card, essentially eliminates stuttering lags and screen tearing.
The EW2780 has a native resolution of 1920 x 1080, a refresh rate of 75 Hz, an In-Plane Switching (IPS) panel, support for 16.7 million colours, a widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio, a static contrast ratio of 1000:1, 250 cd/m2 brightness, 81 ppi, and a response time of 5 milliseconds (GtG). It is able to watch information from practically any position because to the 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angles. There are three HDMI 2.0 ports on this monitor. The 3.5mm headphone connection, as well as the dual 2.5W speakers, can be used to output audio.
BenQ designed the EW2780 to accommodate 72 percent of the NTSC colour spectrum, and its eye-care technology will help users stay comfortable for longer periods of time. The EW2780 has a vertical tilt of -5 to 15 degrees to help with sight and accessibility.
